It's common for people to have fears about going to the dentist. In fact, people who fear going to the dentist often have had that fear since they were a child. However, our office strives to accommodate anyone who has any fear about coming in for a procedure or dental cleaning. Being fearful of the dentist is nothing to be ashamed of. Our office has many years of experience providing excellent service, and we see patients who are afraid of us all the time. Over the years, we have learned that we can help people who fear us by being transparent. When you come in for a visit at our office, we always are here to help. We can provide any of the information you need relating to your dental health. If you're having a procedure such as a root canal or a filling, we understand it can be stressful. That's why we like to provide as much information relating to your procedure as possible. We've learned that we can ease many of our patient's fears by walking them through their procedure before it begins. A Little Support Never HurtsIf you're fearful, we also allow for you to bring along a person to support you through your procedure. Many people benefit from having someone nearby who can provide comfort during their procedure, and we recommend bringing along someone you trust to help you with your fears. Having someone who can support you plays a major role in managing your fear. If your child is fearful of our office, we recommend staying with them during any of their procedures to help them through it too. If you're interested in learning more about how we can help you overcome your dental fears, give us a call. We would love to talk with you about any of your concerns. We would also be happy to answer any questions about an upcoming procedure. |
